We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of one of Bridge’s founders, Gilbert Cohen.

Gilbert founded Bridge in 1970 alongside Mike Backner, laying the foundations for what the business has become today. Over the decades, he remained a constant presence helping to shape not only the direction of the company, but also the values and culture that continue to define us.

His contribution to Bridge cannot be overstated. From its earliest days through to its growth and evolution, Gilbert’s vision, character and commitment left a lasting mark on everyone who had the privilege of working with him.

While the business enters a new chapter, we do so carrying forward the legacy that Gilbert helped to build.

Our thoughts are with Gilbert’s family and loved ones at this difficult time.
