David Horne

DIRECTOR OF INTERNATIONAL

David has been working at Bridge since 2010, having previously held multinational roles with both global and network brokers. He has extensive experience in cross-border and international insurance placements, including a detailed understanding of the coverage required to meet the challenges of multiple geographic, geo-political and legislative frameworks. As the Director of the International Team, David is responsible for managing our broker and client relationships, as well as providing strategic advice on all matters risk related.

Roscoe Fawcett

CLIENT DIRECTOR

Roscoe has over 40 years’ experience in insurance broking, handling Corporate & International business. He has been with Bridge for 16 years having gained extensive experience of international business at Willis and Marsh and spent 10 years as a director of an independent broker. He has been involved in the International Team at Bridge since the start and overseen the growth of the team, which has been founded on service excellence, a team of experienced, committed colleagues and strong relationships with partner brokers around the world.

Stuart Thake

ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Stuart has over 30 years’ experience in the UK insurance industry. Having spent time working in both the City and regional markets, he knows the importance of understanding his clients’ risks and getting the best of price & product from underwriters. Stuart really enjoys working for Bridge’s International department and getting to know broking colleagues across the world. This has helped him forge some great relationships, which in turn provides his clients with access to markets in each part of the globe. Stuart has been able to find solutions for clients who have previously struggled for understanding of their risks, due to the sometimes-complex nature of global insurance cover.

Amanda Tilbury

CLIENT SERVICE EXECUTIVE

Amanda has worked in the insurance industry for 35 years and, prior to Bridge, she has worked for a number of global brokers where the focus was International Clients (including charities operating overseas), Local Authorities, NHS Trusts, Housing Associations and PFI/PPP projects. Consequently, she is well versed in the nuances of dealing with highly regulated organisations where attention to detail is paramount.

Leah Francis

CLIENT SERVICE EXECUTIVE

Since graduating in 2015, Leah has gained valuable experience in the insurance industry. This has involved working across various roles, including claims handler, SME broker, and currently, in the international department at Bridge. In her current role, Leah supports the administration and placement of policies and programs, working with clients from diverse sectors such as retail, manufacturing, and technology. Being part of the International Team has provided Leah with numerous exciting and insightful opportunities, allowing her to collaborate with brokers and insurers globally. This has not only expanded her professional network but also enabled Leah to facilitate efficient policy placements and resolve queries promptly.

Mandy Brook

CLIENT SERVICE EXECUTIVE

Mandy has worked in the insurance industry for 40 years, the last 10 of which have been with Bridge. She has extensive experience of working with clients across the demining and high-hazard Personal Accident sectors, including with charities, commercial contractors and government bodies. Mandy works in the International team in our Manchester office, providing a back-up point of contact for day-to-day activity, in support of, and in conjunction with, Amanda Tilbury and David Hughes.

Susan McCauley

CLIENT SERVICE EXECUTIVE

Susan has over 35 years’ experience in the UK insurance broking industry for both national and regionally independent brokers. She joined the International Team at Bridge in February 2022 as a Client Service Executive. Susan enjoys working on accounts ranging from large multinationals to the smaller UK office and professional risks – no two clients are the same and they all have their particular requirements.

David Hughes

CLIENT SERVICE EXECUTIVE

With over 15 years’ experience in the insurance industry, David specialises in delivering tailored insurance solutions to multinational clients. He currently works within Bridge Insurance Brokers’ International department, managing a diverse portfolio of large, multinational companies. David’s role is centred on understanding clients’ unique needs, securing the most competitive terms, and providing expert advice on appropriate insurance policies and levels of cover. For him, the client is always the priority, and he takes pride in building strong relationships based on trust, expertise, and exceptional service.

Barbara Clarence

CLIENT SERVICE EXECUTIVE

Barbara has worked for Bridge Insurance Brokers since 2012, having previously held administration roles across many areas of the business. She has been part of the International Team for the last few years, liaising with international clients and our broker network across Europe and the rest of the world.

Gavin Allen

CLIENT SERVICE EXECUTIVE

Gavin entered the insurance world just over 30 years ago, at a high street broker in the private insurance sector. From there he gained further experience working for an insurer in the commercial insurance sector. In 2004 Gavin joined Bridge Insurance Brokers as a Client Service Executive in the corporate team. The move to the International team came in 2014. Since then, he has been supporting international clients in assessing their risks and finding insurance solutions for them across the world.
